They resort to violence when someone looks at them funny, or at the slighest annoyance! We all share the same pain of being trapped... But some are killing each other over it! Kaido: ...So who made you judge, jury, and executioner!?
Keisuke: ...If they hadn't tried to stab me, I wouldn't have summoned Yama... Yama felt their hunger for blood, and sentenced them. It's their own fault...!
Kaido: So it's all the demon, and you ain't guilty of nothin'? Shifting the blame now, eh? Don't even think about running from what you've done!

[The fight continues, Pazuzu finishing with a bolt that fells Yama.]

Keisuke: What...!? How can this be? Yama... died!?
Kaido: Haha, and you're next, ya know? You keep spewin' all this justice crap... But you're using violence to make your point! You're no better than the others... Admit it... You're just like me. So let's hear your apology!
Keisuke: My ambitions and ideals are nothing like yours! I'll apologize to no one!
Kaido: Hah...! You've got guts, kid. I'll give ya that!

[MC-kun & co arrive on scene.]

Atsuro: Is that... Kaido and Keisuke!?
Kaido: How pathetic... You're gonna die clutching those ideals!

[Pazuzu moves forward, grabbing Keisuke by the neck and hoisting him into the air as he struggles.]

Keisuke: Ghh... I'm not letting go!

[Keisuke summons two Badba Catha, but Pazuzu disposes of them easily, before he incinerates Keisuke, tossing him aside.]

Kaido: ...You had an iron will... But you were an idiot.
Midori: Aaaahhh! Keisuke! Keisukeeee!
Atsuro: Kaido...! How dare you...!
Kaido: .....! What? So he was your friend after all...
Atsuro: I'll never forgive you for this! How could you!?
Kaido: ...So what? Does that mean you wanna kill me? Hmm!?

[Demons are summoned. Battle commences.]

Atsuro: Why did you kill Keisuke!?
Kaido: You idiot! He's the one who killed one of us, because he thought it was "justice!" Power and fear are "justice" now? What a joke! Violence made him no better than us! If both of us were gonna use the same methods, then one of us had to die! If ya wanna live, ya gotta be strong! The weak have no right to talk like him!

[The demons are defeated, and Midori confronts Kaido.]

Midori: No matter how often you fight, you can't use murder to get your way...!
Kaido: ...Great! He didn't let go of his convictions, even in the end... If you half-assed morons can be even a little like that, you can fight without fear!

[MC-kun attacks Kaido as well.]

[Pazuzu attacks MC-kun, but falls, defeated.]

Believer: Lady Amane had succeeded in summoning a demon before the development of the COMPs. Whether it was her powers as a maiden, or something else, I don't know... But there's one rumor the worshippers whisper that strikes me as plausible. Supposedly, there's some sort of powerful demon residing inside Lady Amane... Rumor has it Kuzuryu, our founder, performed a ritual when Lady Amane was a child... Anyway, Lady Amane seems to have summoned a demon in the traditional way. But since that puts a very heavy strain on the summoner, the order created COMPs.

Believer: Actually, no. There was someone besides Lady Amane who could summon demons. When we hit a snag in the program, Master Azuma brought in some woman... It was after that when development went dramatically better.
MC: > Master Azuma?

Believer: The woman Master Azuma brought could summon demons by playing the melody she'd written. But it seemed she had no control over what kind of demon would be summoned... It might be more accurate to say she created an atmosphere where demons could cross over.

(T/N: A Cardan grille is the form of cryptography where you place a board/paper w/ holes cut out...and read the words through those spaces. Akkadian (according to wiki) is an extinct Semitic language which, while I don't doubt Naoya knows, probably isn't a commonly known language and I have no idea how Atsuro read through that - unless Naoya uses Akkadian often to encrypt his work =|)
